Molded version of the FS class E.428 in Era III with two front bogies.
The Italian E.428 is also a stately appearance in the model: The elongated locomotive body and the massive forward bogies characterize the image. These attributes and the strikingly designed front are perfectly reproduced in the new PIKO model. The side surface is structured by fine rivet strips and the flush-mounted engine room windows. A powerful five-pole motor operates in the housing. Two precisely balanced flywheels improve the running characteristics and help to overcome minor contact problems with the tracks. The model has a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker ex works and has various lighting functions.
