Rivarossi HR6688 H0 2er Set Schwenkdachwagen, Taoos, Wascosa, Ep. VI

Rivarossi HR6688 H0 Set of 2 Taoos Swivel-Roof Freight Cars – Wascosa, Era VI

Are you looking for modern freight cars for your Era VI layout? The Rivarossi HR6688 set brings two modern Taoos-type swivel-roof freight cars, featuring the design of the Swiss leasing company Wascosa, to your H0 tracks—perfect for realistic bulk cargo transport in today’s freight traffic.

Modern freight transport in the classic Wascosa look

The cars in this set feature a gray color scheme with distinctive WASCOSA markings—a common sight in rail freight transport across Europe. These swivel-top cars are used, among other things, to transport bulk goods such as cement, lime, or grain. With this set, you can faithfully recreate modern operations on main and branch lines.

High-quality model design by Rivarossi

Both cars feature rich detail: fine engravings, accurate proportions, and realistic decals set this set apart. The swing-top roofs are faithfully reproduced, as are the sturdy bogies. As a result, the cars impress both visually and technically in operation.

Technically compatible and reliable

With a total length over the buffers of 362 mm, these two four-axle cars are ideally suited for all standard H0 layouts. They feature NEM-standard coupler housings and close-coupling kinematics, which allow for tight radii and smooth transitions within a train formation. The set is designed for 2L DC power and comes without digital or sound features—ideal for classic, rugged freight rail operation.

Versatile for use in modern model railroading

The cars integrate perfectly into contemporary block trains or mixed freight trains. Whether as a complement to other Wascosa vehicles or as part of international freight transport—with the HR6688 set, you can bring authentic, up-to-date rail freight traffic to your layout.

A must-have for fans of modern freight trains

This 2-car set is the perfect choice for model railroading enthusiasts who value up-to-date rolling stock, high-quality models, and authentic design. With the Wascosa swivel-roof cars from Rivarossi, you’ll enhance both the visual appeal and operational realism of your Era VI layout.
