H0 Simple crossing turnout EKW10 - Roco 42494
The Roco 42494 EKW10 simple crossing turnout is a space-saving and at the same time operationally intensive solution for your H0 model railroad layout. With a crossing angle of 10° and a generous branching radius of 959 mm, this turnout combines a compact design with great driving comfort - ideal for main and branch lines in a realistic design.
Function & design
The EKW10 is a crossing turnout with internal tongues. It combines two turnout functions with a crossing on a single length of track - this saves space and at the same time increases operational flexibility. The total length is 345 mm (corresponds to G1 + G½). The enclosed spacers (2 x D2, 1 x D8) allow flexible adaptation with diagonal track layout.
Technical quality & true to the prototype
The frogs and wheel links have been completely revised and now enable prototypical running over. The groove widths comply with the NEM specifications. Polarization of the frogs is possible when using electric ROCO turnout drives - particularly advantageous in digital operation or with short locomotive models.
