Roco 70408 H0 2er Set electric locomotives 151 094-0 und 151 117-9, DB, Ep.IV, DC-sound

For decades, the special achievements of the class 151 included the transportation of the heaviest ore trains in Western Europe between the North Sea ports and the Peine-Salzgitter steelworks as well as to the Saarland. The trains reached loads of up to 5,700 tons. They were run exclusively in double traction and with automatic coupling, as the conventional screw coupling would not have been able to withstand the very high tractive forces.
