Roco 72003 diesel locomotive MG2, RZD Ep: IV - V

The Russian Railways MG2 diesel locomotive is equipped with a sound decoder and a digital coupler. This model is a completely new design that provides more playing fun with the newly developed digital shunting coupling. The finely detailed design with many plug-in parts and free-standing grab irons also has prototypical light and sound functions as well as driver's cab lighting. The diesel locomotive known as the ÖBB series 2062 was initially delivered to the Soviet Union in 1957 as part of the Austrian State Treaty with 50 units. With their double-walled, thermally insulated construction of the engine compartment front end, the machines equipped with all-burner boilers and additional driver's cab heating were designed for ambient temperatures of -50 to +45 °C.
