Roco 7380007 diesel locomotive 751 375-7, CD, Ep. V Product Details
The 751 series is a diesel-electric universal locomotive. Between 1966 and 1971, 230 series locomotives were built for CSD at the CKD plant in Prague. The locomotive reached a top speed of 100 km/h. The 6-cylinder engine with turbocharger delivers 1,500 hp.Their field of work ranged from international express trains to passenger trains and from heavy freight trains to "collectors" (shunting freight trains). They were also to be found in the border stations of the surrounding countries. The protruding projections under the front windows quickly earned it the nickname "Bardotka", loosely based on Brigitte Bardot, the French actress.
