Roco 7510028 H0 electric locomotive 420 501-9, BLS, Ep.VI, DC-sound

Re 4/4 II 11110, built for SBB in 1966, was sold to BLS together with five other locomotives at the end of 2004. The Re 420 501 was not only the first silver BoBo, it was also the only one that was initially operated by SBB with an SBB number, but already with the BLS logo. The locomotive could be used by BLS for both passenger and freight services. The cargo ban only applied to numbers 507-512. 501 was also the last Re 420 to leave BLS and was transferred to the Extrazug.ch association. There it is to become green again in the future.
