The Roco 7510188 electric locomotive 189 909-5 brings international freight traffic with DC sound and a highly detailed design to the model railroad. In the current Beacon Rail design, it is a rebranded version of the well-known BR 189 multi-system locomotives - ideal for Era VI models with a European focus.

Model from the European leasing operation

Beacon Rail, based in Luxembourg, leases locomotives throughout Europe. With the takeover of MRCE, the fleet was expanded to over 220 machines - including numerous BR 189s. These locomotives are currently being rebranded and are used for cross-border freight transport.
