Roco 7520056 H0 electric locomotive 141 278-2, DB, Ep.IV, AC-Sound Product Details
The class E 41/141 locomotives were first delivered in 1956 for light mixed service on main and branch lines. They were the only series in the standard locomotive program to be equipped with a switching mechanism on the low-voltage side of the transformer. The switching mechanism had a characteristic noise development which, in addition to the large jumps in tractive force, led to the nickname "Knallfrosch" (firecracker).
