With the Roco 7580033, the electric locomotive 115 509-2 appears in a unique special edition. The eye-catching design "80 years of the car train" was created by Gudrun Geiblinger and makes the locomotive a special eye-catcher. The model combines high-quality printing, solid engineering and the characteristic creased front shape of the E 10 series.
Design & finish
The locomotive is primed in anthracite metallic and features a red racing car on the side in the style of the 1930s - an exclusive motif that makes it unmistakable. Elaborately printed and with many separately attached plug-in parts, the model impresses with its exclusive special look and high level of detail.
Technology & equipment
Equipped with a 5-pole motor and flywheel, the locomotive ensures smooth running. Four axles are powered, two of which have traction tires for additional tractive power. Historical background
The 115 series goes back to the legendary E 10, which was designed as an express train locomotive from the 1950s.
