Roco covered freight car, class CHAW, of the Dutch State Railways

In 1946, the Dutch State Railways took over 2,000 cars from the USATC stock. This included 1,000 covered freight wagons, which were put into service with the numbers 22501-23400. These were used until 1953.Because there was a shortage of paint in the post-war years, only the bare essentials were changed: the cars initially retained their olive green USATC paint, only the USATC lettering was painted over.
