With the plug-in switch for reversing loops, it is very easy to reverse the polarity of the positive and negative poles within the reversing loops: Simply stop the train from the second separation point, switch the reverse loop switch and points, and you're ready to go. With the 97413 insulating connector, separation points can be easily and safely incorporated into the track layout. To do this, the regular track connectors are removed and replaced by the insulating connector.
