With the Trix 22695 Class 77 diesel locomotive, Trix is presenting a powerful model of a modern, internationally used freight locomotive. The JT42CWRM, better known as the Class 77, is representative of the new generation of diesel-electric locomotives in heavy freight service. The prototype shown here runs for Euro Cargo Rail and is leased to DB Cargo AG - a symbol of cross-border logistics and European railroad technology of Era VI.

The H0 model on a scale of 1:87 impresses with its elaborate paintwork and the finest printing, which is in no way inferior to the original. Numerous separately applied details and a detailed buffer beam round off the high-quality look. The locomotive is technically impressive with a centrally installed, controlled high-performance drive with flywheel, which drives all four axles via cardan shafts. Traction tires ensure optimum traction even with heavy trains.

An integrated digital decoder provides extensive light and sound functions. The LED lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs can be controlled digitally. Highlights include the separately switchable driver's cab and control panel lighting as well as the double-sided switchable headlights with additional double A-light function. The tail lights (two red LEDs) can also be switched digitally depending on the direction of travel. The locomotive has a smoke generator built in as standard, which further enhances the realistic impression.

With a length over buffers of approx. 24.7 cm, the locomotive is ideal for modern H0 layouts with a focus on current freight traffic. Attachable brake hoses are included for additional individualization. This locomotive is a must for modern model railroaders and all those who rely on international prototypes and digital perfection.
