Trix 22740 H0 Dampflok 01.10 Kohle, DB, Ep. III, DC-MFX-Sound Product Details
Trix 22740 H0 Class 01.10 Steam Locomotive, Coal, DB, DC Sound - Powerful Express Train Classic of the Post-War Era
The Trix 22740 class 01.10 express train steam locomotive is in its powerful postwar form with a new construction heavy-duty boiler and a 2'3 T38 coal tender. In a classic black and red paint scheme with silver boiler rings, Witte wind deflectors and the road number 01 1059, this model faithfully reproduces the condition after the boiler conversion around 1955/56 - ideal for the heavy express train service of Era III.
High-quality metal construction with powerful technology
The locomotive and tender are largely made of metal and impress with their stability and depth of detail. The controlled high-performance drive with flywheel mass is located in the boiler and drives three axles. Traction tires provide powerful tractive power. The locomotive and tender are connected by a close coupler with kinematics; the tender also has a kinematics-guided coupler with an NEM shaft.
Digital equipment with light, sound and smoke
Equipped with a RailCom-compatible mfx/DCC digital decoder, the locomotive offers extensive sound and light functions. The two-light headlights change depending on the direction of travel and can be switched digitally, as can the cab lighting, the firebox flickering and the running gear lighting. The smoke generator fitted as standard produces a speed-dependent, dynamic smoke output - for maximum operating reality.
Perfect addition for Era III layouts
With a minimum radius of 360 mm, the locomotive is ready for use on standard H0 layouts. The filigree metal construction with numerous attached details, including enclosed piston rod protection tubes and brake hoses, makes it a highlight of any collection. An integrated buffer tank ensures uninterrupted operation on demanding track sections.
