Trix 22789 H0 E-Lok BR 115, DB AG, Ep. VI, DC-MFX-Sound Product Details
Trix 22789 H0 Class 115 Electric Locomotive - DB AG Era VI with mfx sound and detailed equipment
The class 115 electric locomotive from Trix in H0 is a precisely constructed model based on the prototype of the Deutsche Bahn AG in 2014 operating condition. With the road number 115 346-9 and the typical "crease" front with a continuous fan belt, this model is a real eye-catcher for modern Era VI layouts. The locomotive impresses with its technically sophisticated equipment and numerous prototypical details - ideal for demanding model railroaders and collectors.
The model is equipped with a controlled high-performance drive with flywheel, which is installed centrally. All four axles are driven by cardan shafts and traction tires ensure optimum power transmission to the track. This ensures smooth and powerful operation - even in heavy train service. The locomotive has a digital decoder with extensive sound functions and is DCC, mfx and RailCom compatible. It is therefore ideally prepared for digital operation.
One highlight is the digital light control: The triple headlights and the two red tail lights can be operated conventionally or switched separately digitally. A double A-light function is also available. The cab lighting can also be controlled digitally and changes depending on the direction of travel. All light functions are implemented with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs.
The roof superstructures are detailed and have pantographs of the DBS 54 type, which are mounted without visible fastening. Both pantographs can be raised and lowered digitally. The other external details are also impressive: Many separately attached parts such as grab rails, steps and UIC sockets ensure a high degree of prototypical fidelity. The buffer height complies with the NEM standard and there are also kinematic close couplers that enable realistic car spacing. The locomotive has a length over buffers of 18.9 cm.
An integrated buffer storage unit ensures a reliable power supply even during short interruptions, for example due to dirty tracks or switch areas. This considerably increases operational reliability on digital layouts. Brake lines and screw couplings are included as separately attachable parts for additional customization options.
This model is aimed at model railroaders who want to bring an authentic Era VI vehicle to their layout - whether in daily use on the digital layout or as a high-quality showcase piece. The combination of faithfulness to the prototype, digital equipment and detailed design makes the Trix BR 115 a modern classic in the H0 segment.
