Trix 25481 H0 Dampflok 1.002, SNCB, Ep. VI, DC-MFX-Sound Product Details
Trix 25481 H0 Steam Locomotive 1.002, SNCB, DC MFX Sound - Belgian Express Train Legend in Museum Splendor
With the Trix 25481 steam locomotive, Trix is bringing an impressive reproduction of the Belgian class 1 express train locomotive to the H0 layout. The locomotive with the road number 1.002 is in museum operating condition and has numerous prototypical changes to the shape of the boiler - ideal for railroad fans with a soft spot for international classics of Era VI.
High-quality metal design and powerful drive
The locomotive and tender are largely made of metal and guarantee stable, reliable operation. A controlled high-performance drive with flywheel mass is installed in the boiler. One axle is driven directly, two others via coupling rods. Traction tires ensure safe traction on steep gradients.
Smoke, light and flickering - digitally controllable
A smoke generator fitted as standard provides dynamic, speed-dependent steam output and can be controlled digitally. The two-light headlights as well as the cab lighting and the flickering fire in the firebox can be controlled separately digitally. All light functions are equipped with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs and give the model a realistic appearance by day and night.
Attention to detail down to the smallest detail
The locomotive has a large number of attached details, such as grab rails, roof lines and fine rows of rivets. The tender is connected to the locomotive via an adjustable coupling with kinematics. There is a close coupler with NEM shaft on the tender itself. Brake hoses, imitation screw couplers and signal holders are included for optional refinement.
Reliable operation with buffer storage
An integrated buffer storage unit ensures uninterrupted operation, even on de-energized track sections. The locomotive can negotiate curves without restriction from a radius of 437.5 mm (R2) and meets the NEM specifications for buffer height - ideal for use in high-quality train formations.
