Trix 25535 H0 Dampflok BR 52, DB, Ep. III, DC-MFX-Sound Product Details
Trix 25535 H0 Class 52 Steam Locomotive, DB, DC Sound - The Freight Train Workhorse of the Early Federal Railroad Era
With the Trix 25535, Trix is bringing a precise and powerful version of the class 52 to your H0 layout. The heavy freight train steam locomotive with the road number 52 6884 is shown in operating condition around 1951 and has the typical black and red paint scheme of the German Federal Railroad. Equipped with the newly designed K4 T30 rigid frame tender, this model is a highlight for all fans of Era III.
Technically convincing - with a completely new rigid frame tender
The locomotive is equipped with a controlled high-performance drive with flywheel mass in the boiler. Five axles are driven, supported by traction tires. The locomotive and tender are largely made of metal and offer high operational reliability. The newly designed tender without bogies has laterally movable wheel sets - just like the prototype.
Prototypical light functions and digitally expandable
The dual headlights change over depending on the direction of travel and can be controlled both conventionally and digitally. The cab lighting can also be controlled separately in digital mode. The locomotive is prepared for the retrofitting of a smoke unit (item 7226), which can then also be controlled digitally. The model is illuminated with maintenance-free warm white LEDs.
Depth of detail and realistic equipment
A filigree metal running gear with a clear view between the running gear and boiler ensures a high degree of authenticity. The close coupler with kinematics between the locomotive and tender, as well as kinematics-guided couplers with NEM shafts at the front and rear, ensure a reliable and realistic vehicle transition. The buffer height complies with the NEM standard. Piston rod protection tubes, brake hoses and imitation screw couplers are included for retrofitting.
