The Trix 25801 locomotive is a modern and powerful class 186 electric locomotive as it was operated by the French Akiem SAS from 2022 and leased to SBB Cargo International. This H0 model authentically reproduces the operating condition of this TRAXX locomotive - including the eye-catching, light gray paint scheme with two differently designed sides and the road number 186 904-9 "Ceneri".

The model is a completely new construction in a highly detailed metal design and impresses with a large number of separately applied parts such as grab rails, UIC sockets, sand boxes and realistically designed roof lines. The roof superstructures are particularly finely realized and contain four newly designed pantographs with different contact strips - suitable for cross-border use in Germany, Switzerland and Italy.

Inside, a centrally installed, controlled high-performance drive with flywheel mass ensures smooth running. All four axles are driven by cardan shafts, traction tires ensure reliable power transmission to the rails. The locomotive is equipped with a modern digital decoder that is DCC, mfx and RailCom compatible and offers extensive operating and sound functions. An integrated buffer memory reliably bridges short powerless sections on the layout.

A particular highlight of the model is the extensive lighting. The triple headlights and the two red marker lights can be used conventionally or switched digitally. The model also has a separately switchable high beam and a double A-light function. The cab and driver's desk lighting can each be controlled separately digitally. For international use, many additional light signals for Italy and Switzerland can be controlled digitally - a truly unique feature of this model.

The buffer height complies with the NEM standard and ensures realistic operation in combination with kinematic close couplers. The length over buffers is 21.7 cm. Numerous accessories such as brake lines, screw couplers, sockets and closed rail clearers are included for individual design.
