Vollmer 43739 H0 Stadtkirche Stuttgart-Berg

The model of this Vollmer model can look back on an eventful past. As early as 1235, a church is said to have stood on this hill on the western bank of the Neckar. It was followed in 1470 by a new building in the Gothic style, which was replaced by a neo-Gothic church in the middle of the 19th century. After almost complete destruction in World War 2, the church was finally rebuilt in 1954/55, so that today its exterior hardly differs from its neo-Gothic predecessor.
