Weinert blocking signal - H0 kit, illuminated
The Weinert 1502 is a finely detailed kit for an illuminated blocking signal in H0 scale. The model is based on prototypes of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) and the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG) in high construction on the mast and is ideal for prototypical signal systems on model railroad layouts.
Design & workmanship
The model is designed as a kit and enables an exact replica of the prototype signal. It has a realistic mast design and is supplied with a base plate (2095). The fine workmanship and filigree design make the blocking signal look particularly authentic.
Prototype & function
The prototype signal shows the signal patterns Sh 0 (stop) and Sh 1 (shunting free). This is the version without the third white lens on the back. In the original, the signal was operated mechanically via cable pulls from a signal box and was used to secure shunting movements at stations and depots.
Model version
The model is equipped with LED lighting so that the signal images can be displayed realistically. The kit allows individual assembly and integration into various system scenarios.
