YaMoRC YD7010 DCC-Zentrale with WLAN Product Details
YaMoRC YD7010 DCC command station with WLAN - modern command station for digital railroaders
The YaMoRC YD7010 is a fully-fledged DCC Command Station with integrated WLAN module and extended network functions. It combines the proven technology of the YaMoRC YD7001 with the YD9401 network module and is aimed at model railroaders who are looking for a powerful, flexible solution for control, feedback and operation via network and mobile devices.
Power supply and performance
The central unit allows operation at 15-19 V DC, which results in a locomotive voltage of 13.8-17.8 V - sufficient power for H0, yet safe for N-railways. An integrated booster with 3 A provides sufficient power for locomotive runs and supplies the track current directly.
Interfaces, networks & protocols
The YD7010 is equipped with numerous interfaces: USB with three virtual COM ports (for YaMoRC.Command, XpressNet and LocoNet), RJ45 Ethernet for 100baseT network and of course the WLAN access point function. This allows smartphones, tablets and handheld controllers to be connected and controlled directly. The integrated network solution allows the simultaneous use of several protocols such as XpressNet-LAN, Z21®, LocoNet (Binary & LBServer), JMRI: WiThrottle and YaMoRC.Command via both LAN and WLAN. In addition, the integrated DCC signal generator supports special functions such as RailCom cutout and prioritized packet generation.
Compatibility and expandability
Feedback buses such as S88 or ES-Link can be used, e.g. via adapters. The YD7010 is compatible with various YaMoRC modules (e.g. feedback modules, switching/signal decoders). LEDs clearly indicate operating status, GO/STOP etc. Connection terminals have been revised to ensure a robust connection - e.g. programming track and RS bus have been combined in a 4-way block.
Why the YD7010 is worthwhile
If you want to future-proof your DCC system, the YD7010 is a more powerful alternative to older command stations. The device offers network functions right from the start, broad protocol support, powerful booster performance and numerous interfaces. Ideal for digital railroaders with multiple control points, feedback and more complex operating sequences.
