Auhagen 13305 Umgebindehaus

Half-timbered houses can be found primarily in Lusatia (D), but also in Lower Silesia (PL), northern Bohemia (CZ), in the Elbe Sandstone and Ore Mountains, in the Vogtland, in northern and western Saxony and eastern Thuringia.

The idiosyncratic wooden buildings were inhabited mainly by linen weavers, forest and factory workers, glassmakers, small farmers and craftsmen. The Umgebindehaus part was the core and heart of the house and constructively independent. The strange but also "enchanting folk architecture" between log and half-timbered construction was faithfully reproduced.

Models in the Upper Lusatia stood model. Interesting roof design and courtyard entrance. Antennas, water pump and bench are included.
