An eventful life - from the DR to the Preßnitz Valley Railway
After its active time with the DR, the IV K 99 1594-3 traveled across Europe: 1977-1984 in Norway, then at Öchsle in Baden-Württemberg and then in private ownership on Rügen. After being refurbished in Romania in 2006, it returned to the Preßnitz Valley Railroad as an operational museum locomotive. This model faithfully reproduces the condition in Era IV on the German State Railroad in the Aue depot.
True to the original down to the last detail - Metal Collection handcrafted
The model shows the locomotive with a high water box inlet, typical Rekolok roof with four open flaps and attached heating hoses for the train heating - all exactly as in the original. The control system is cast from nickel silver, with a new control carrier, and the lettering is done with etched signs and fine pad printing.
