About the Model: At the request of many enthusiasts, BEMO now offers the world's slowest express train in H0 standard gauge. With specially designed bogies, the RhB tourist trains of the Glacier and Bernina Express can be operated on the 16.5 mm gauge. This makes operation possible in both DC and AC systems.

About the Prototype: To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Glacier Express, which has been running since 1930 between St. Moritz, Chur, Brig, and Zermatt, the RhB and MGB introduced their new train concept GEX 2006. Both railways each launched two six-car panoramic trainsets in red and glacier blue with a white Swiss cross at the carriage connections. The modern rolling stock offers enhanced passenger comfort and features a new dining concept: the freshly prepared menu in the panoramic dining car is served directly at the seat.
