Brawa 40094 H0 steam locomotive 65.10, DR, Ep. IV, DC-Sound Product Details
Brawa 40094 H0 Steam locomotive 65.10, DR, Ep. IV, DC sound - Modernized Reichsbahn locomotive with digital sound experience
Are you a lover of the late steam locomotive era of the German State Railroad? The Brawa 40094 brings a piece of railroad history directly to your H0 layout with the locomotive 65 1073-9 in the condition from 1975 - equipped with digital decoder, sound and a variety of switchable light functions. This model combines the finest art of model building with modern technology - ideal for the discerning collector and for operation on digital direct current systems.
The last operating state - BR 65.10 with Giesl ejector
As one of the last locomotives of this class in service, the 65 1073-9 was converted to the typical Giesl e jector with flat chimney in the 1970s and received new boiler feed lines. This version corresponds to the condition as it was found in regular DR operation until it was taken out of service - and is therefore an authentic representation of the late Era IV.
DC sound, lighting effects & unobstructed cab view
The Brawa 40094 comes from the factory with a built-in decoder and sound module. Realistic lighting functions such as white/red light change, flickering fire, driver's cab lighting and engine lighting make the model particularly lively. The drive in the boiler allows a clear view through the driver's cab - a technical and visual highlight at the same time.
Technology & details at the highest level
The locomotive is based on a revised design with newly developed kinematics of the trailing bogie, revised controls, filigree wheel hubs and modernized running gear. The coal box can be displayed with and without toolboxes, the driver's cab has been further detailed with a new engine position - ideal for layouts with a focus on prototype fidelity.
Digital options & compatibility
With the PluX22 interface and integrated decoder, the model is ready for a wide range of digital applications. All functions can be controlled on standard DCC systems. The locomotive is designed for operation on DC direct current systems and is a perfect match for DR Era IV passenger cars.
