Brawa 40095 H0 Steam locomotive 65.10, DR, Ep. IV, AC sound - AC model with full range of functions
Are you a Märklin driver looking for a steam locomotive from the German State Railroad with a powerful sound and the typical DR flair of the 1970s? The Brawa 40095 offers you the class 65.10 in the 65 1073-9 version from 1975 - equipped with sound, numerous light functions and specially designed for AC/AC systems. A highlight for Era IV layouts with a focus on prototype fidelity and digital driving fun.
65 1073-9 - the latest state of the art for the class 65.10
As one of the last remaining locomotives of this class in service, the 65 1073-9 represents the modernized state of the late DR steam locomotive era. Equipped with a Giesl ejector, wet steam regulator and new boiler feed lines, it marked the final technical stage of development - reproduced here true to the original in H0 scale.
The class 65.10 was built a total of 88 times between 1954 and 1957 and proved its worth particularly in fast local traffic. Its robust construction and good acceleration made it the ideal locomotive for commuter traffic. With the introduction of new technical standards from the mid-1960s, many locomotives, such as 65 1073-9, were extensively modernized.
AC sound ex works - fully equipped for Märklin compatibility
The locomotive is factory-equipped with a sound decoder and designed for operation on alternating current (AC) systems. Numerous lighting effects such as cab lighting, engine lighting and flickering fire ensure maximum authenticity in operation. The drive is housed in the boiler, which allows a clear view through the driver's cab - a real eye-catcher on any layout.
Highly detailed implementation - Brawa quality in every component
Whether the filigree smokebox door with sash locks, correctly shaped wind deflectors or the finely reworked wheel hubs - this model impresses with its precision. The newly designed kinematics of the trailing bogie improve the running characteristics, the modernized running gear ensures smooth running, and the driver's cab has been further detailed with a new engine position. Coal box variants with or without toolboxes complete the picture.
