About the model: Quality manufacturer BRAWA offers a detailed model of the popular DR class E95 electric locomotive. The locomotive has a length of 240.3 mm and a minimum radius of 360 mm. About the prototype: E 95 02 has had the status of a museum locomotive for 40 years, but work on it since then has been limited to external completion and preservation. This changed a few years ago when a group of enthusiasts came together in Halle with the aim of restoring it to working order. BRAWA also donated the proceeds from the sale of the model to this cause. To mark the anniversary of locomotive construction in Hennigsdorf, E 95 02 was presented outside the Halle P depot for the first time again in September 2010.
