With the road number 50 80 96-73 510-7, the car is prototypically matched to the Metronom RE 3 Hamburg Hbf. The design in exact H0 scale and with a length over the buffers of 303 mm allows for realistic integration into modern Era VI layouts.
Digital Functions & Modern Lighting Technology
Equipped with digital technology right from the factory, the middle car features warm white LED interior lighting, illuminated destination displays, and an illuminated driver’s cab. The direction-dependent red/white light change adds to the sense of realism. The ZugBUS technology automatically detects the lead and last cars in the train set and enables central control of all functions in digital operation.
Durable materials & detailed design
The car is made of impact-resistant plastic with a stabilizing metal base plate. Printed window frames, precisely fitting windows, multi-part bogies, and separately attached windshield wipers underscore the high level of detail. The paint scheme matches the BRAWA TRAXX BR 146.5 electric locomotive exactly, creating a harmonious overall look in the Metronom train set.
