The Prototype – The Fads 177 as a Specialist for Low Loading Ramps

The DB developed the Fads 177 model to complement the Fads 175 and 176 series. With its lower side walls, this car was perfectly suited for loading facilities with limited headroom. For a prototypical train composition, these cars can be optimally combined with Fads 175 or 176 as well as Fals cars. Suitable locomotives for use: Class 043, Class 151, Class 140, or Class 232—depending on the region and operational scenario.
