Brawa 58232 H0 Electric locomotive E 95, DR, Era III, AC sound - The comeback of a legend of the early GDR
Are you looking for an unusual electric locomotive with an eventful history for your Era III layout? The Brawa 58232 E 95 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (GDR) brings historical significance, technical strength and high-quality detailing to your H0 tracks - complete with built-in locomotive sound for full digital enjoyment in AC operation.
Technology that impresses - sound included
This powerful model has two motors with flywheel mass for smooth running, four traction tires for strong tractive power and close-coupling kinematics for flexible use. The built-in Doehler & Haass decoder with LokSound delivers true-to-the-original sounds directly to the track. The third headlight can be switched off in analog mode via POM and conveniently controlled in digital mode using a function key.
Attention to detail and authentic
The Brawa E 95 is a masterpiece of model design: The three-dimensional running gear, fine engravings, color-coordinated roof equipment as well as free-standing grab irons, roof lines and lamps make it a visual highlight of any Era III layout. The true-to-original pantograph and precisely fitted windows round off the harmonious overall appearance.
A prototype with an eventful history
After the Second World War, many electric locomotives were taken to the Soviet Union as reparations - including E 95 locomotives. At the beginning of the 1950s, parts of these locomotives returned to the GDR. Three of them were completely rebuilt in RAW Dessau and were used again by the Deutsche Reichsbahn - mostly in heavy freight train service. This preserved and revived a piece of German railroad history - now also on your model railroad!
Flexible use - on main and branch lines
With a length over buffers of 240 mm and a minimum radius of 360 mm, the locomotive is suitable for many types of layout. Whether as a freight train locomotive in a typical GDR station or as a solo run to the next operating point - this electric locomotive impresses with its performance and presence.
A must for fans of the DR and Era III
With the Brawa 58232, you not only get a powerful model, but also a piece of railroad history of the young GDR on your layout - technically modern and visually a classic. Perfect for all those who value authenticity and function!
