Massive, powerful and impressively detailed
The E 95 impresses with its elaborately designed, three-dimensional running gear and finely coordinated paintwork with precise printing. Precisely fitted windows, free-standing grab rails, roof lines and filigree lamps underline the high level of model-making skill. The roof equipment is also prototypically implemented - color-coordinated and equipped with true-to-original pantographs.
Technology for powerful driving
The model has two motors and a flywheel for particularly smooth running. The locomotive is equipped with a Doehler & Haass decoder and has built-in locomotive sound. Thanks to close-coupling kinematics and four traction tires, it offers high tractive power - ideal for heavy trains in historic freight or express train service.
Atmospheric lighting included
The light changes depending on the direction of travel. The third headlight can be switched off via POM in analog operation and controlled in digital operation using a function key - another clever function that brings the model and prototype closer together.
Ideal for Era II layouts with AC operation
With a length over buffers of 240 mm, the locomotive is ideal for classic operating layouts of the 1920s and 30s. The recommended minimum radius of 360 mm makes it flexible for use on many layouts - whether in shunting operation or on long main lines with contemporary wagon stock.
