Brawa 58239 H0 Triebwagen 425, TDH, Ep. VI Product Details
Brawa 58239 H0 Railcar BR 425, TDH, Era VI - Detailed regional train model for analog railroaders
Would you like to enrich your H0 DC layout with a high-quality, modern regional multiple unit - but prefer analog operation? The Brawa 58239 class 425 railcar offers you an excellently detailed model with digital and sound preparation - ideal for classic model railroaders with future prospects.
Authentic design down to the last detail
The four-car BR 425 multiple unit is a real highlight for modern Era VI layouts. The three-dimensional front, the faithfully reproduced roof superstructure with high-voltage equipment and air-conditioning boxes as well as the fine engravings make the model look just like the original. The exterior appearance is complemented by a finely detailed pantograph and separately attached windscreen wipers.
Prepared for the digital future
Even though this model has an analog design, it is already prepared for the installation of sound and digital functions. This means that it can be converted at a later date to suit your requirements. LED lighting, functional train destination displays, a complete interior and interior lighting are already integrated ex works - so you can also enjoy an impressive appearance in analog operation.
Excellently finished, ready to run and flexible
The bogies are true to the original and differ - as in the prototype - between the BR 425 and BR 426. The close-coupling kinematics in accordance with the NEM standard ensure reliable operation, even in double traction. Power is always drawn from the front section of the train thanks to the pickup shoe changeover - a well thought-out feature for reliable operation.
The prototype - Deutsche Bahn's successful train
Between 1999 and 2008, 249 units of the Class 425 were procured for use in S-Bahn and regional services. It is used throughout Germany by DB Regio - including in NRW, Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Berlin and Schleswig-Holstein. The vehicles have 206 seats and 228 standing places and are fully accessible throughout. Even today, they characterize the image of numerous S-Bahn and regional express lines throughout Germany.
For analog railroaders with an appreciation for modern technology
The Brawa 58239 BR 425 multiple unit is the ideal choice for anyone who appreciates detailed model building and still wants to run in analog. With its digital and sound preparation, extensive equipment and high-quality workmanship, it can be easily upgraded - or simply enjoyed as an impressive vehicle in analog operation.
