With the Piko H0 DB AG BR 612 diesel multiple unit, a modern classic of local and regional transportation comes to your layout. Developed from 1998 by Adtranz (now Bombardier), the "Regioswinger" with its active tilting technology is optimally designed for fast connections on winding routes. In the current Era VI version, the two-car multiple unit comes in typical DB-AG livery - a must for modern model railroad scenarios.

Model realization with a look inside

The model offers factory-installed, switchable interior lighting and allows a clear view into the detailed passenger compartment through flush-mounted windows and doors. The realistic design and the harmonious paintwork in the DB AG design make the multiple unit an attractive focal point on regional and branch lines.

BR 612 - tilting technology for fast travel off the main lines

With speeds of up to 160 km/h on existing lines, the Regioswinger brings high speeds to regional transport - without expensive infrastructure measures. This concept has established itself on many routes in southern Germany, Thuringia and Saxony. The model faithfully reproduces this technological claim in H0 scale.

Digitizable & sound-capable

The model is equipped with an NEM 652 interface and can be easily digitized. A PIKO sound decoder (#56619) can be retrofitted. The white/red light change depending on the direction of travel ensures harmonious operational representations in push-pull operation.
