You can't miss this box van because the paintwork is completely atypical for Red Cross vehicles. The orange-colored emergency vehicle of the civil defense of the DRK in the North Rhine-Westphalian Siegburg-Wittgenstein of the Berleburg local association bears the Geneva protection sign with the round old district association lettering. The vehicle is still in its original condition today. This is also clear from the lettering, as the old district association was dissolved many years ago and merged with the DRK district association in Siegen. Berleburg only became today's "Bad" Berleburg in July 1971.
