Busch 51800 Robur Garant K30 (orange) Product Details
As the successor to the Phänomen Granit 27, the Phänomen Granit 30 k from VEB Robur-Werke Zittau appeared at the Leipzig Autumn Fair in 1953 with a modified new front section and went into series production in 1955. The headlights were integrated into the front fenders and the radiator grille was given horizontal aluminum struts. The side struts made the nose of the truck appear slightly longer. There were also changes under the hood, such as an improved petrol engine with an output of 40 kW, which essentially consisted of components from the Granit 27 and 32 engines. The new name suffix 30 stood for 30 dl displacement and the k for head-controlled. Around 1955, the expropriated owner family Hiller, who by then lived in the Federal Republic of Germany, sued for the rights to the name. The brand names Phänomen and Granit, which had been used until then, were no longer allowed to be used. The name of the truck was therefore changed to Garant from July 1, 1956 and the factory was renamed VEB Robur Werke Zittau from January 1, 1957. Six years after the introduction of this model series, the 50,000th model rolled off the production line in April 1961. Granit K 30 About Busch: Busch offers the complete design program for natural landscape design.
