Description

ESPEWE 95194 H0 IFA W50 L RTGW Fahrschule FW Friedrichshagen, Bj. 1971 Product Details

In 2024, the long-desired D035 fertilizer spreader body is added to the range, providing the basis for further use on the IFA W50 and IFA L60 chassis. In addition to their use in agriculture, these spreader bodies were also widely used for winter road maintenance. The fire department and NVA vehicles are followed by an IFA W50 from VEB Minol. This year, models from various motor transport companies will also be included. Of course, a few new variants of the EsPeWe replica models of the IFA S4000 tank fire engine and Robur LO 2500 bus are also included.

The W50 was equipped with a double cab for use by work crews. The vehicle version consists of a ten-seater cab and a flatbed. The construction crew vehicle (BTP) also met the requirements of off-road use and could be used there with an all-wheel drive chassis and low-pressure tires. It was used in the postal and telecommunications sector, in the energy industry and as a rescue equipment vehicle (RTGW) by the fire department. A ladder guide frame was mounted on the roof of the driver's cab for attaching ladders. There was a device on the loading platform to hold a turntable. The fire department's driving school vehicle in the Berlin district of Friedrichshagen on MĂĽggelsee only had orange rotating beacons to distinguish it from normal emergency vehicles.
