Description

ESPEWE 95295 H0 IFA W50LA TLF16 (Tanklöschfahrzeug), Friedrichshagen Product Details

Unique classic fire engine - ESPEWE 95295 H0 IFA W50LA TLF16 "Friedrichshagen"

With the ESPEWE 95295 IFA W50LA TLF16 in the special "Friedrichshagen" version, you not only get a high-quality model, but also a truly unique piece of GDR fire department history on your H0 model railway layout. The model is based on a faithfully preserved tank fire engine with a unique paint finish that was only to be found in Berlin-Friedrichshagen.

Prototype with an individual touch

Series production of the TLF16 began in 1969 at the VEB Feuerlöschgerätewerk Luckenwalde. The TLF was built on the all-wheel drive chassis of the W50 and equipped with an all-steel crew cab for six firefighters. Its off-road capability was particularly appreciated, which meant that it could also be used effectively off the beaten track.

Special design with unique belly band

The outstanding feature of this model is the narrow white belly band that ends below the window bulge - a paint job that was applied independently by a member of the Friedrichshagen fire department, even before official design guidelines were published by the Ministry of the Interior (MdI). Due to a lack of experience in the design process, the white stripe was unceremoniously ended at the rear doors - a unique detail that made this vehicle a genuine one-off.

Finely detailed model with historical depth

The ESPEWE model has been realized on a scale of 1:87 with high precision - including the narrow belly band, the double cab, the typical body shape and true-to-original prints. It not only brings visual variety, but also a piece of Berlin fire department history to your layout.

For fire department enthusiasts, GDR collectors and model making connoisseurs

This model is a must-have for anyone who values historical accuracy and authentic stories in model making. Ideal for fire department dioramas, Berlin city scenes or as a special showcase piece with a background.
