ESU 51966 Schleiferumschaltungsplatine

The ESU 51966 wiper switching board is specially optimized for use with LokSound V3.5 / LokPilot V3.0 decoders with 21MTC interface. It enables automatic switching of the current collector depending on the direction of travel and works reliably in both digital and analog operation.

Features:

• Slider switching board for use with LokSound V3.5 / LokPilot V3.0 decoders with 21MTC interface:
• Many railcars are equipped with a wiper at both ends. For proper functioning in block sections and for stopping in time before red signals, it is essential that only one wiper is used to supply power to the decoder, depending on the direction of travel.
• This is ensured by the wiper changeover: It is connected between the current collectors and a LokPilot or LokSound V3.5 decoder with 21MTC interface. These generate a control signal which is evaluated by the slider switching electronics and switches the "correct" slider. This works perfectly in digital and analog operation.

Note:

• The LokPilot Basic V1.0 is not suitable for the slider switching electronics.
