Lenz 40280-01 0 steam locomotive BR 80 016, DB, Ep. III b Product Details
The Lenz 40280-01 0 steam locomotive class 80 016 is a detailed replica of the brawny tender shunting locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, which were procured as part of the standard steam locomotive program from 1927 to 1929. These models are ideal for use in Era IIIb and offer state-of-the-art equipment.
The class 80 was in service with the DB until 1965 and with the DR until 1981. These locomotives were also used as works locomotives in the coal and steel industry until 1977. Today, seven examples of these robust machines still exist.
