The Lenz 40280-06 0 steam locomotive BR 80 002 is a detailed replica of the massive tender shunting locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, which were manufactured between 1927 and 1929 as part of the standard steam locomotive program. This model represents the class 80 002 of the Rbd Hannover, Bw Bremen-Walle and is set in Era II.
The class 80 was in service with the DB until 1965 and with the DR until 1981. They were used as works locomotives in the coal and steel industry until 1977. Today, seven examples of these striking locomotives have been preserved.
