Description

LGB 26451 G Diesellok L45H-083, SDG, Ep. V, DC-MFX-Sound Product Details

Are you looking for a finely detailed LGB L45H-083 diesel locomotive for your G layout?

The LGB 26451 G diesel locomotive L45H-083, SDG, Era V, DC MFX sound is an impressive model for anyone looking for a special narrow gauge diesel locomotive with a clear prototype history. The model shows the L45H-083 in the Era V version of BVO Bahn GmbH in blue livery.

With its true-to-original color scheme and lettering, this locomotive brings a striking vehicle theme to the garden railroad or G layout. The history of the prototype is particularly exciting: The L45H was built in the locomotive factory of August 23rd in Bucharest, Romania. Over 300 locomotives of this type were built there and were mainly delivered to Poland, Romania and Hungary.

Prototype history of the L45H-083

The former GDR had not ordered any L45H locomotives. After reunification in 1990, however, various machines of this type came to Germany, including the L45H-083. The buyer was BVO Bahn GmbH, i.e. Busverkehr Ober- und Westerzgebirge.

At that time, BVO Bahn GmbH operated the Fichtelbergbahn between Cranzahl and Oberwiesenthal. The L45H-083 was initially given a blue livery with a yellow decorative line and was available for operation from 2001. Today, the Fichtelbergbahn is operated by the Sächsische Dampfeisenbahngesellschaft mbH, or SDG for short.

LGB 26451 G Diesel locomotive L45H-083

The model of the L45H-083 is finely detailed and has many attached parts. Stems, driver's cab and chassis frame are prototypically reproduced. This gives the locomotive a convincing effect and also looks very high quality on closer inspection.

The driver's cab doors can be opened. The driver's cab is equipped with interior fittings and lighting. An engine driver figure is also included. These details give the model a lively appearance and make the LGB 26451 a special eye-catcher.

Drive, decoder and sound functions

Both bogies of the locomotive are powered. Operation is possible from a minimum radius of R1 / 600 mm. This means that the model can be used well for suitable G layouts and offers a strong technical basis thanks to the drive of both bogies.

The locomotive has an mfx/DCC decoder with many light and sound functions. An energy storage unit is installed as standard. This makes the LGB 26451 not only visually, but also technically extensively equipped.

Light functions and equipment

The headlights change white/red depending on the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. Together with the cab lighting and the sound functions, the result is a model that is particularly effective in operation.

The length over buffers is 52 cm. If you are looking for a G diesel locomotive with an exciting prototype history, blue Era V paint scheme, mfx/DCC decoder, sound, light functions and built-in energy storage as standard, the LGB 26451 L45H-083 diesel locomotive is a very suitable choice. Add this L45H-083 model full of character to your layout now.
