Description

LGB 33205 G passenger car Nr.116, Jagstalbahn, Ep. IV Product Details

Historic Splash of Color in the Jagst Valley - LGB Passenger Car No. 116

With the LGB 33205 Passenger Car No. 116, you can bring a charming piece of railroad history to your garden railroad. The red and white old-timer became an eye-catcher on the Jagst Valley Railroad in the 1980s and brings stylish variety to the narrow-gauge tracks with its historic appearance. As part of the historic train service in the Hohenlohe region, this car tells an eventful story that can now be recreated in detail on a scale of 1:22.5.

A Swiss veteran in the service of the Jagsttalbahn

Built in 1904, the passenger coach originally came from the St. Gallen-Gais-Appenzell-Altstätten Railway (SGA) in Switzerland. In 1982, it was taken over together with three other vehicles and rebuilt for the 750 mm gauge of the Jagsttalbahn. From 1984, it enriched the museum train service in the Jagsttal, a region with a great passion for railroads and historical depth - not far from the castle of the legendary Götz von Berlichingen.

Stylish appearance of the 1980s

The model shows carriage no. 116 in its typical red and white livery, as it was seen on the Jagsttalbahn in the 1980s. Particularly striking: the coat of arms of the town of Dörzbach on the side walls - a sign of the local connection with the railroad. The detailed implementation ensures an authentic image and makes this carriage an unmistakable part of any historic train composition.

Technology and workmanship for the garden railroad

Equipped with robust metal wheelsets, the wagon is ideal for use on the garden railroad. The solid construction guarantees smooth running and a long service life - ideal for permanent outdoor operation. The combination of a nostalgic look and modern technology makes this wagon a popular highlight.

Ideal addition to other Jagsttalbahn vehicles

The passenger car no. 116 can be perfectly combined with the LGB steam locomotive 798.101 ("Nicki S.", item no. L24268) and the MD 3 passenger car (L30142). Together they make a harmonious train picture as it regularly ran through the Jagst Valley in the 1980s - ideal for all those who want to authentically recreate historical scenes.

Scope of delivery

The scope of delivery includes the detailed printed passenger coach no. 116 of the Jagsttalbahn with red and white paint scheme, reproduction of the Dörzbach town coat of arms and metal wheel sets. The model is ready for operation and can be used immediately.
