Description

Märklin 39136 H0 electric locomotiveBR 151, DB AG, Ep. V, AC-MFX-Sound Product Details

Märklin 39136 H0 Class 151 Electric Locomotive - DB AG, Era V with mfx+ Sound and Realistic Aging

The Märklin 39136 brings the class 151 heavy freight locomotive to your H0 layout in an especially realistic version. The model of the Deutsche Bahn AG is implemented in the operating condition of Era V and has an authentically faded and aged paint scheme. This design reflects the typical condition of many machines in hard use from the end of the 1990s and ensures a particularly credible appearance in model operation.

The model is technically impressive with an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive operating and sound functions. The central high-performance drive with flywheel mass ensures powerful running. Two axles in each bogie are driven by cardan shafts, traction tires ensure the necessary traction even under load. An integrated buffer tank bridges powerless points on the system and increases operational reliability.

The LED lighting includes a three-light headlight that changes depending on the direction of travel and two red marker lights. Both headlights on locomotive sides 1 and 2 can be switched off separately digitally. Driver's cab lighting with direction of travel change, engine room lighting and a starting lamp, which can also be used for prototypical scenarios, can also be switched digitally. The LEDs used are maintenance-free and designed in warm white/red.

The roof superstructures are detailed and equipped with DBS 54 pantographs. These can be raised and lowered digitally and add to the realistic appearance of the locomotive. There are also numerous separately applied components such as imitation wheels, grab irons, sandboxes, UIC sockets and filigree roof lines. An engine driver figure in driver's cab 1 gives the model additional life.

The buffer height is implemented in accordance with NEM standards. Brake lines, screw couplings and various sockets are included as separately attachable accessories. With a length of 22.4 cm over buffers, the model is ideally dimensioned for realistic train sets in freight or heavy passenger service.

This version of the Märklin class 151 is the perfect choice for all model railroaders who want to combine realistic aging, technical sophistication, and true-to-original design on their Era V layout. This locomotive sets standards in appearance, sound and function.
