Märklin 39991 AC current-electric locomotive BR 254, DR/DDR, Ep. IV

Märklin is introducing model 39991, a class 254 electric locomotive with a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. The locomotive has controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a centrally installed flywheel and has 2 powered axles per driving gear. The triple headlights that change over with the direction of travel and two red marker lights are in conventional operation and can each be controlled digitally. The cab lighting can also be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. The driver's cabs and the engine room are equipped with relief interior fittings. Attachable brake hoses and imitation screw couplers are included separately.
