About the model: All of the cars in the Rheingold "Tin Plate" car set come with Relex couplers and rubber bead crossovers as well as different car numbers. The compartment cars were equipped with built-in train end lighting as standard.
Prototype: 4 four-axle TEE passenger cars of different German Federal Railroad (DB) designs. TEE paint scheme purple/ivory. 1 Ap4üm-62 TEE widebody, 1st class. 1 WR4üm-64 TEE dining car. 1 AD4üm-62 TEE observation car, 1st class. 1 Av4üm-62 TEE compartment car, 1st class, with rear train lighting. Operating condition circa 1965.
