A class 39 steam locomotive (the legendary Prussian P10) awaits the approaching departure order - the Zp 9 signal - in front of a large station concourse alongside an abstract depiction of an old locomotive. This sublime showpiece illustrates the significant, important and imposing role that the railroad played in the 19th and 20th centuries and that it was honored with such architecturally sophisticated structures as a station concourse.
