Märklin 55255 electric locomotive BR 151, DB AG Product Details
DB Cargo class 151 heavy freight locomotive. Traffic red paint scheme. Road number 151 070-0. Operating condition of the EP. V around 1998.
The paint scheme was again changed to traffic red in 1997 and the bib on the front of the locomotive gave way to a narrower bar. After an accident repair in the Opladen maintenance depot, the 151 004 was the first to shine in its new livery in September 1997. In the fall of 1998, the 151s began to be equipped with the DBS 54 single-arm pantograph, which almost all of the locomotives gradually received. With the founding of DB Cargo AG on January 1, 1999 and the assignment of all 151s to it, the use of the locomotives in passenger service also ended. Their affiliation to the DB freight division was now indicated by the inscription "DB Cargo" on the side. From November 2003, all 151s were based in Nuremberg Rbf, with other depots participating in their maintenance.
