Märklin 88018 Z steam locomotive BR 01.5 Reko, DR, Ep.IV

Prototype: Class 01.5 express train steam locomotive. Reko version of the former German State Railroad of the GDR (DR/DDR) in the condition of Era IV, with spoke wheels, coal unit box tender 2'2'T34, Witte wind deflectors in a special design for the class 01.5.

About the model: The model of the DR steam locomotive class 01.5 Reko is the first realization of a class 01.5 in the condition of the regular operating time of the German Reichsbahn of the former GDR. The locomotive impresses with a metal body and a bell-shaped armature motor, as well as a finely detailed linkage. The outstanding features include the replicas of the Indusi magnet, imitation brakes, rail scrapers and sand pipes.
