Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 50 heavy freight locomotive with a 2'2'T26 tender in a Christmas design. Version with Witte wind deflectors. Used for heavy freight trains. Era III condition, road number 50 2412.
About the model: The Märklin Christmas steam locomotive was constructed on a scale of 1:220 and has a length of approx. 109 mm. The small locomotive is impressive with detailed Christmas imprints on a black paint scheme. In addition to the visual highlights, this model shines with a warm white headlights signal and a bell-type armature motor for the best driving experience.
The locomotive is packaged in a real wood box. A music module is built into the packaging. The "Jingle Bells" melody sounds when the packaging is opened.
The model complements the previously released Christmas carriages to form a complete train.
