The Minitrix 16631 steam locomotive is an impressive reproduction of the class 41 of the German Federal Railroad in the condition around 1956. The locomotive with the road number 41 308 is equipped with a type 2'2 T30 short tender and has an impressive design with an old-style boiler, closed front apron and "Witte" type wind deflectors. A classic model of Era III - ideal for use in front of freight and passenger trains.

Detailed realization with powerful technology

The running gear and tender are made of robust die-cast metal and ensure high stability. The drive is located in the tender and drives three axles, supported by traction tires for excellent tractive power. The new design of the short tender provides an authentic appearance in N scale.

Digital equipment with sound, light and special effects

An integrated mfx/DCC decoder with sound generator provides realistic steam locomotive sounds. The locomotive is equipped with a 3-light headlights, cab and running gear lighting as well as a processor-controlled firebox flicker (red-orange LEDs). All light functions are implemented with warm white LEDs - for a harmonious operating image.

Fine additional details and accessories

The smokebox door can be opened in a prototypical manner. The coupling mount at the tender end complies with the NEM standard. Retrofit kits for shunting steps, rail scrapers and piston rod protection tubes are included for even more attention to detail.
